I met this dude from Shanghai in a game and we struck up a conversation, one gamer to another. And then he asked if I had MSN. Which wasn't so much a problem as to whether or not I would add him, but moreso that I couldn't bear to tell the guy that despite being Chinese, my Mandarin sucks donkey balls.
Ah well curse this land's language policy in education. Seems like English is increasingly becoming the language of the uneducated (cue my post about Bananas a year back).
